Aerial is a recognised leader in research, innovation and industrial development. Aerial shares its expertise worldwide as a Technology Resource Centre (CRT) accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space, as an Agro-Industrial Technical Institute (ITAI) and as a Collaborating Centre of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), an international organisation under the auspices of the UN.

Aerial has been supported by the signatories through several successive three-year contracts for the acquisition of outstanding research equipment such as FEERIX and a pilot freeze-dryer.
