An international meeting of UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme) was held on April 17 and 18 in Strasbourg at the headquarters of the European Parliament. The aim of the gathering was to discuss, explore and jointly define the ideal forms of the #smartcities of tomorrow. The rapid advancement of digital technology is reshaping urban policy, giving rise to major challenges and prompting the deployment of cutting-edge solutions to address them. Valuable exchanges were held, bringing together 31 experts from around the world to share diverse perspectives and approaches !

This initiative was carried out in close collaboration between the French state (Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Grand Est Regional Prefecture), the local authorities participating in the Three-Year Contract (the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, the Grand Est Region) and UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme) with the invaluable support of Fnau and PFVT, France’s international urban development platform.
